April 30. Hacchobori Nanahari, Tokyo

Kabusacki (electric and synthesized guitar) with special guest Yuji Katsui (electric violin) at Hacchobori Nanahari

Great news: Yuji Katsui will join me tonight!!!!!!!!!! I'm so so happy, I so much enjoy playing with Yuji!!!!

Nice to be back "home" in my hotel in Tokyo,

in the morning I went shopping for a Rilakuma bear for my daughter at Kiddy Land...wonderful shop!

Stuff ready to go at the hotel...Tokai Les Paul, my silver suitcase with gear and a bag with Kabusacki Luck T-Shirts...

Hacchobori Nanahari is a unique venue (I played here 2 with ago with my friend the great Pika!) with superb "wood" sound. I love this venue. It's located in a basement of a building, and the owner developed a special sliding doors system for acoustic isolation.

This wonderful amp was waiting for me at the venue....a beast!

The gig was really fine, inspiring, with very nice interplay with Yuji. I hope to hear a recording of this performance soon. In fact, I hope a compilation from this tour's recordings will be possible some time soon.

Dinner with Yuji, Koki and Kaz, then Y drove me to the hotel.

Only 2 more performances to go... I'm already beginning to feel a bit sad that in a few days I will be leaving this country I love so much. Ouch... of course, hoping to come back again soon.

Fuerza Japan!!!
