April 24, morning in Kobe

Woke up early...sitting, packing, shower and off for a walk by the sea.

Breakfast at the Sea Horse, a tiny cafe by the sea...




...art on the sidewalks...






...a supermarket for fishermen...

...the plants for cleaning and processing seaweeds...

I wish I had time to become familiar with the work of the artists who live in this house...






...delicious lunch with Koki and Ari at an excellent restaurant of Ari's choice. Ari knows!

Before leaving my hotel room in Tokyo I enjoyed this precious gift, given to me last night by a kind member of the audience...

April 22, day off in Tokyo

Yes! It's my only day off in this tour, this means that today I have plenty of time for resting, reading, packing, coffee, walk around Harajuku...


and buy a Rilakuma teddybear for my daughter in Kiddy Land



... take a train to Mannen-ya, one of my favorite shops in Tokyo...










...see the flowers in the park in Shinjuku...




...walk around the park...





...have lunch...


... see the Pray for Japan signs in many windows (I do this every morning and in every performance)...





...see my friend Juan Parra, who I haven't seen for many years since some Guitar Craft courses and projects in Germany...many years ago...


...and listen to Jeff Beck's Tribute to Les Paul and Bob Dylan's Slow Train Coming in my hotel room.

I have to empty my hotel room since tomorrow Koki and I are travelling to Kansai.

I'm currently reading Lucia Puenzo's book.
